Kate had a couple visitors Friday night. One of Chad's college roommates came to visit and meet Kate for the 1st time. Chuck McCandless and his mother made the trip over from Ohio to eat dinner and visit. It was great to see Uncle Chuck and Kate together for the 1st time. Kate has been getting more eager to test crawling...she is almost ready to start, but still likes Mom and Dad to do everything. We have started to see the first glimpse of warm weather and Kate loves it. Stay tuned...almost crawling.

What a great National Championship game...and even better Dad's Kansas Jayhawks won it all! Kate took pictures with dad before the game, but bed time was calling before tip-off! Mom made sure Dad stayed quiet during the game so Kate could sleep. It almost looked like another disappointing year for KU until luck came into play. It is extra special for Kate's first NCAA March Madness Tourney the Jayhawks win it all! Thanks to Grammy Great in Kansas for Kate's outfit to have something to wear during the games.

Kate helped KU beat UNC!

We were able to get away for a quick trip down to Indy to visit G-Mom, G-Dad Toombs and Uncle David, Aunt Megan, cousin Cyrus, Aunt Patty and Great Grandpa Dick. We were able to catch the Final 4 games on Saturday night as a family. It was great to be with everyone and watch the Kansas Jayhawks beat North Carolina to play for the National Championship!! Thanks for all the food and all the fun! GO KU!! Cousin Cyrus and Kate were able to play together and watch basketball all evening. GO KU on Monday night!!
