Kate...just a bit happy for Memorial Day Weekend

Kate took Mom and Dad and went down to Indy to visit all the family for the weekend. Dad went to the 500 race with Granpa and Granma Cole and Aunt Abbie on Sunday. Jamie took it easy with G-Mom Toombs while dad was at the race. We had a great weekend with all the family. Thanks for all the great food!!

Kate was able to see so many family and friends that we could not put all the great pictures in one posting. The chance to visit Virginia and not have it be softball weekend was a blessing for Mom and Dad. We enjoyed Aunt Brooke's graduation and all the fellowship with the family.

We celebrated on Sunday with Aunt Brooke as she graduated from Hollins University in Roanoke. It was great to see her walk and have all the family celebrate this great milestone in her life. The day was cold and the Lord kept the rain away for the outdoor event until graduation concluded. We had so much fun being with all the family and Kate enjoyed skipping her nap for the afternoon. Congrats Aunt Brooke!!

Kate took Mom and Dad this past weekend to Virginia to visit Grammy and Papaw Briscoe and to celebrate Aunt Brooke's graduation from Hollins University. Kate was able to visit and see many family members for the 1st time. Grammy Great Briscoe from Kansas along with Uncle Steve and Aunt LeAne made the trip to VA to see Brooke's graduation as well. We enjoyed all the fellowship and time with family during the weekend. Kate enjoyed having quality time with cousins Tate, Mateya and Tregan too. Thanks to all the family for such a great weekend. Kate enjoyed the warmer sunny Virginia weather!

Happy Mother's Day 2008! We had a great weekend celebrating the 1st Mother's Day of Kate being with Mom and Dad outside the belly! Grandpa and Granma Cole and Aunt Abbie came up and spent the night Friday night and we had enjoyed a fun day on Winona Lake on Saturday. Kate bought some flowers for Mom and took her to lunch after Church. Well...we had another 1st this weekend, Saturday afternoon, Kate decided to crawl for the 1st time. It was extra exciting that Mom and Dad were both able to witness the event. She is in the phase of wanting to always walk around holding on to Mom and Dad's fingers. Happy Mother's Day!
