Uncle Doug and Aunt Connie made a visit to see Kate this past weekend. Doug and Connie LeViere are our family from Western PA. It was such a blessing to see them and have time to fellowship together. G-Mom and G-Dad Toombs came up and spent Friday and Saturday with Kate while Mom and Dad took Uncle Doug and Aunt Connie to Chicago to see a White Sox game. Kate enjoyed riding bikes and being with G-Mom and G-Dad while Mom and Dad were gone. To Doug and Connie we say THANK YOU for coming over for the weekend, we thank God for your friendship and for all you have done for our family. G-Mom and G-Dad thanks for coming up to stay...Kate had so much fun with you guys!

Kate has enjoyed the warmer weather and being outside each day. She constantly wants to go to the "PAK" which means "Park" and she loves visiting with the neighbor's daughter Shelby. Kate has begun to play catch with dad, using her new gloves from Aunt Patty and Uncle David & Aunt Megan and loves cooking with Mom.

A new stage for Kate turning 2 years old and one thing that has started that we hope does not stay around very long...the purple dinosaur "Barney" has become a household name at the Briscoe's! Trying to fill time one day with a Barney video has now turned into countless hours of the Purple singer on our TV! We now add Barney to our prayer list at night and sing the famous "I love you...you love me" song! Hope everyone had a great July 4th holiday...we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Uncle Doug and Aunt Connie from Pennsylvania this weekend to visit. Stay tuned...more Barney to come!

Happy Birthday Kate...WE LOVE YOU!

Kate turns 2 today! Happy Birthday Kate Marie Briscoe!! We had a wonderful time in Indy over the weekend celebrating Kate's Birthday with all the family. We want to thank each and everyone for attending the party and for all the wonderful gifts! It was one of the best rides back to Warsaw...she had so many new things to play with in the car!

A special thanks to all the grandparents for helping pull the party together with all the food! Thanks to Grandpa and Granma Cole for allowing us to use the pavilion at the Westlake Church. Uncle David and Aunt Megan had the hit of the party with a kid jump castle. Kate, Cousin Cyrus and Cousin Carsen loved jumping in the castle all morning. Kate enjoyed opening the presents, eating cake at 11am in the morning, and having a play ground near by!

We thank God for such a wonderful day with all our family and again want to thank everyone for such a great day.

What a blessing you are to our family. As parents we thank GOD everyday for entrusting you to us to raise. Our daily prayer is that GOD will continue to grow in your life, and that you will always strive to live your life for him! As we celebrate two years...it has gone way to fast!! We reflect on all the great memories we have made in a short amount of time. We thank God for such wonderful family who loves and supports us! We thank God for wonderful grandparents who are so giving, loving and willing to babysit! We thank God for the honor of being parents and Kate we are blessed with you! We pray for the Lords leading always in your life, and as parents we strive daily to raise you in a home committed to the Lord that is full of love. Kate took Mom and Dad on vacation to the Outer Banks, North Carolina last week. It was great to be with Grandpa and Granma Cole, GiGi, Pap, Uncle David, Aunt Megan, Cousin Cyrus and Aunt Abbie! Kate loved going swimming with Cousin Cyrus everyday. We had a wonderful week with all our family and thank the Lord for great weather and time together. Kate loved being able to be with cousin Cyrus everyday...I am sure cousin Cyrus has loved getting away from Kate trying to hug him every minute of the day.

Kate enjoyed cooking with Granma Cole, fishing with Grandpa Cole and hugging on GG and Pap! Thanks to Aunt Abbie, Uncle David and Aunt Megan for playing with me all week! The time on the beach was a blessing...thank you Granma and Grandpa Cole!! We had a great time together and thank the Lord for the GREAT memories!!
