The athletic season has started and Kate made it to the first Grace College volleyball match over the weekend. The volleyball team won the 1st ever athletic event in the new Athletic Center at Grace College. She cheered for the home team by sleeping through the whole thing! It has been a busy week for Kate as she is getting ready for her 1st Interstate Church of God Softball Tournament next weekend...and the 1st time to see all the Briscoe side of the family. Kate is looking forward to meeting her cousins Tate, Mateya & Tregan.
We had to show off Kate's rolls...she is definitely a great eater! She also loves spending time in the bath. Before this shot she had exploded all over her outfit and we couldn't get her in the tub fast enough!

Weekend in Indianapolis
We had a great weekend in Indianapolis for Aunt Megan's baby shower. Aunt Megan is due in October with Kate's cousin Cyrus and is doing great! We arrived Saturday night and were able to visit with G-Dad and G-Mom. On Sunday, Jamie went to the shower with all the family while dad got to spend time with Grandpa Cole and Uncle David while they played softball at the church. It was great for Kate to meet and see so many family and friends at Aunt Megan's shower. In the evening we went out for an early birthday dinner for Dad Cole with GiGi and GGrandpa Cole, Grandpa and Grandma Cole, Aunt Abbie, Uncle David & Aunt Megan. We had a wonderful time and it was great to get away. We are gearing up for the annual Labor Day Weekend softball tournament. Looking forward to dry weather and our first trip to Virginia for Kate to meet all of dad's side of the family. Talk to you soon!

Kate Growing Daily!
Kate decided after her 5th week of life that she is on her own sleeping schedule! We have been trying to get on a constant schedule (mommy has been reading the "baby wise" book) which is not happening right now. The one thing you will notice is that she is eating good!! She has started to spend more time in the swing which gives mom a break. We take walks almost each night and Kate loves the stroller. Dad was in Alabama this past weekend and had a great time with the Fairview Church of God, he played in their golf outing to raise money for Paraguay and then spoke at church on Sunday. Mom went home to Indy to visit for the first time with Kate. Mom was able to introduce Kate to a lot of her extended family. She spent the night with G-Mom and G-Dad and then with Grandpa & Grama Cole. We are heading back to Indy again this weekend for Aunt Megan's baby shower on Sunday afternoon. As you can see the spiked hair dew has not changed...we love it!

Busy in Indiana!
Kate is adjusting rather well to her new surroundings in Winona Lake, IN. Her sleeping habits have changed a bit as she is sleeping better! The only problem, we think she likes to stay up late. Getting her to bed earlier is a priority right now. She is also at the place where she is too small for swaddler diapers (smallest ones for those like dad who had never heard of them) and too big for newborns (a step up). So we have had a few major blow outs that have resulted in more laundry service this week. Mom and Kate are heading down to Indy to be with family this weekend while dad heads to Alabama to speak at the Falkville Church of God about Paraguay. Thanks for all your prayers as we made the transition to Indiana. It is good to finally be here! Talk to you soon.

Slept through the night!
We are getting settled into our temporary apartment in Warsaw, IN. This past week was very busy and not many nights of a normal schedule. Kate suprised mom and dad Friday night, deciding to finally sleep through the night. Exactly 5 weeks to the day she slept the entire night! Needless to say, mom and dad were pretty excited. We have had a restful weekend. Friday night Kate took mom and dad to Ft. Wayne for dinner and Saturday we spent the day looking around Winona Lake for possible homes to buy. We spent our first Sunday at the Warsaw Church of God. We met a few people with AU ties and enjoyed the praise and worship. Kate was a good listener...she slept through the whole service!

WE HAVE MOVED! (back to Indiana)
As many of you have noticed it has been a few days since the last posting. Kate has decided to move back to Indiana! Chad has accepted a new position as the Athletic Director at Grace College in Winona Lake, IN. It was a very quick decision and we thank God for the door he has opened. Kate is a GREAT traveler, there were times as we moved we had to look around to make sure she was still there. She was quiet and took it all in as we could sence she knew something was going on. ha! We stopped several times on the way across for her to eat, after eating it was right back to sleep. We thank God for his blessings and for the chance to be closer to one side of the family. So much to share...we moved into a temporary apartment in Warsaw and the hardest thing about leaving Western PA was saying good bye to Uncle Doug, Aunt Connie, Courtney, Brock and Kelly. They are our family and we will miss them very much, we thank God for all they have done for us! Chad officially began his duties at Grace College yesterday and we have boxes stacked up and down the hall of our apartment. We want to thank so many people for helping us move: Great Grandpa Feldman, G-Mom and G-Dad Toombs, Uncle Justin, Grammy Briscoe, PawPaw Briscoe, Uncle Doug, Aunt Connie, Aunt Courtney, Brock, the entire Fred Zeigler Family, Grandma Cole and Aunt Abbie! We would have never made it without our family!! Our new contact information is: 1905 N. Sand Dollar Dr. Apt. A, Warsaw, IN 46582. We hope to be back on a normal schedule with updating the blog now. Thanks for your prayers!
