Kate is proud to announce that her mommy is going to have a healthy baby sister! She is very excited and graciously gave up her crib for the new baby and has spent this week getting used to her big girl bed. We explained in great length the first night in her big bed that she was not to get out of her bed without mommy or daddy helping her out. We also told her that if she needed something, she needed to call for us and we could get it for her. Just a few minutes after prayer and songs, we left her room and she started yelling,"Mommy, daddy, I need soooomethiiiiing!" We only had to go in 6 times the first night!! She has obeyed and stayed in her bed through the night and waits for us to get her in the morning by yelling,"Mommy, daddy, I'm awwwwwaaaake!"
Kate is also potty trained now. Yippeee for mom and dad! She still uses diapers at night, but wakes up dry in the morning! We are so proud of her and all the milestones she has conqeured over the last few months. She truly is becoming a big girl and can't wait to help with her new baby sister.

Congrats on your little girl! I wish I could tell you I know how it feels to have a little girl, but I am left speechless in that area. :> Children and so special and such a blessing from God. I really like the name Ann or Anna. Good luck! We had a hard time with a third boys name. :>
