Kate has been able to experience March Madness with Dad for the 1st time. Wow! What an experience. The good luck Kate has brought in her 1st year of life is that the Kansas Jayhawks made it to the Final 4! Sunday was a special day in the Briscoe house as Kate put on her full KU outfit, took her seat beside Dad and cheered the Jayhawks on to victory. Kate did not like the times during the day when KU was doing bad...Dad seemed to yell a bit loud at the TV. It was one of those priceless moments and we are glad KU won to go to the Final 4! Thanks Grammy Great Briscoe in Kansas for sending us the KU outfit--Kate looked great!

Well we celebrated another 1st yesterday...Easter Sunday! Kate loved getting all dressed up and going to Church with Mom and Dad. She did not want to hunt for easter eggs this year, Mom and Dad are sure that will change next year. We had a wonderful day together and enjoyed dressing Kate in her new Easter dress! HAPPY EASTER!!

Kate was blessed to have Lars and Agneta Svensson visit from Nassjo, Sweden this past weekend. Lars was the President of the Nassjo basketball club where Dad played during one of his years in Sweden. Lars and Agneta adopted Chad and made him part of their family. We had a great time visiting and spent Friday in Ft. Wayne eating and shopping. Lars and Agneta had a friend, Evior with them who was traveling as well. We thank the Lord they were able to visit us during their trip to the states. Kate enjoyed hearing Swedish and getting new Swedish clothes!

Mommy and I went down to visit family in Indianapolis this week since daddy is in Missouri with the basketball team. I am hoping daddy will bring back a teeshirt for me from the Andy Williams show!! I ate dinner with my favorite cousin Cy. I love playing with him! We had a blast and made lots of noise!
Daddy, I miss you and want you to come home soon! I keep saying your name to mommy....da da da da da da da da. Mommy and I love you!

Well Kate is getting ready to experience her 1st March Madness...I know hopefully a basketball player for Dad and a cheerleader for Mom! We had our last basketball game at Grace this past weekend (which we won) and Kate as able to get a few pictures on the floor. We had a restful Saturday morning. Mom made breakfast and we played with our toys which was fun. Kate is just about ready to show everyone her 1st tooth...she is a bit slower than her cousin Cyrus. Her 1st bottom tooth is about to pop out...stay tuned! We are going to try and get Kate a guest appearance this summer in the circus--she can officially make her hand disappear! We know a very rare talent, Dad hopes to make a couple of bucks off of it!ha.
